If. I. Could. Just. Reach. The. Grass!
What's a matter girls?
LET US OUT!
I don't understand what the problem is. There's lots of grass out here. Just ask Togo.
But no grass in here!
Whatcha gonna do if I don't?
We will peck your foot until you give in.
Take that.
And That.
Freedom!

It's The Thought That Counts
While we were traveling this summer, Togo proved that he was a little young to be by himself. (more on that later) So he went to my friend Louanne's to be babysat.
Then, a stray dog started harassing our sheep.
Sometimes donkeys will attack dogs so our neighbors lent us theirs to try and deter him. The donkey's were happy to hang out and visit with the sheep but actually were not the least bit threatening to the stray dog.
That's ok. When you are this cute, you don't actually have to be functional. Now that Scott, Togo and I are back, we can defend our flock so our adorable, but useless helpers went home.

Pictures Out My Camper Door
We are in Wisconsin for another day. We leave for home tomorrow. Poor Scott is out giving lessons in rain that is supposed to stay all day.
I'm not leaving the camper unless it is to walk dogs in the mud so I didn't even step out the door to get these pictures.
There's no reason to stand in the rain. The sheep are just as safe when they are guarded from under a tree. Unless you are this character - sporting his summer hair cut - he doesn't even notice the rain. (he's too busy sticking his head in the back of everyone's open cars to see if he can find something to steal)
Escape! Run away! It's raining!
I don't think so - Nat to the rescue
Ha ha. We were just kidding. We'll head back now.

Hospitality
The hospitality we have received on this trip has been wonderful. When we visited Vergil and Annemarie Holland at their Training Center it was like staying at a resort.
The scenery was beautiful, the food was great and they reserved a space just for us.We even had a colorful concierge who met us at the entrance to our lodging.
He showed us around our rooms and then left us to enjoy our stay.It was a very relaxing week and I even managed to get a picture of the well known but rarely photographed, camera wary, Sally!
