Skid's Guest

Skid had a girl come to visit him in his new camper today.
Her name is Stevie. He let her hang out on the really nice dog bed.
He thought he was being generous. But his hospitality didn't extend to his Big Boy chair.

Minimal Monday - Border Guard

This morning we left the Plumb Lucky Trial in Missouri -but we weren't allowed to just leave.
There was a guard on duty.He made sure we didn't try to take anything we shouldn't on our journey. The sheep on the other hand were glad to see us go."Don't let the dog bite you on the butt on the way out."

Minimal Monday - OK Actually Wednesday

It's not my fault that I didn't post on Monday. We are traveling now on "the" trip and I've seen alot of really cool things that I'd like to take a picture of.

Looking down on Billings, Montana from the bute above the city
However, Scott NEVER stops. He doesn't understand that it's "for the blog". So all my photographs have been taken out of the window of a moving vehicle.

Butes in western Wyoming
I've missed some cool shots because I was past them before I had the camera ready.
Fortunately, we should be at our destination in Missouri tonight.

Spring Storm

We decided to take the camper out on it's maiden voyage up to our friend's farm about 4 hours north of us. It lets us get our trial dogs out on different terrain and visit friends we don't see very often.
We were surprised by a spring storm that blew in yesterday afternoon with winds up to 90km and blowing snow.
Ahhh, that's nothing to Albertans.
Our host still Bar-B-Q'ed for us.Only a baby would let a blizzard keep them from enjoying a delicious Alberta bred steak on a Bar-B-Q.

Skid and I weren't born here. We've been enjoying the weather from inside the camper.
