Scott and I are at the Sheepherding National Finals this week and I won't have much time to blog but I thought I'd show you a few shots of our visit to Tennessee last week.
We were offered the use of a "mule" to get around the many hills of the farm and the dogs and I used it to see the sights. In the early mornings we often had a hazy fog until it burned off with the blazing hot sun. But in the evenings we could tour around in the cool dusk and view the Appalachians in the distance.

Your post made me remember how beautiful the Great Smokey mountains are. I rode horseback through them. I almost hit the dirt when a black bear ran in front of my horse. Gorgeous country.
I know this is not the place...but I have to comment. I was able to watch the USBCHA Finals via the webcast over the weekend. I sat glued to my computer on both Saturday and Sunday. I loved watching Scott's run with Don in the finals on Sunday. WOW! I was sick for him that it didn't work out. Of all the shed's I enjoyed watching Scott's shed the most. He was soooo cool and calm. I do obedience and agility, and dabble in AKC herding with my first BC. I had never seen a true shed before. Anyway, I just wanted to come on and say how much I enjoyed the opportunity to watch the USBCHA Finals and because of your blog, I was pulling for Scott all the way!
