Late Posts

I'm so sorry I haven't been posting lately. We've been busy on the road. We will be home in a week and I will get back to your regular programming. In the mean time, here are a few pictures I took in Missouri this week on a foggy morning.

Minimal Monday - Tennessee

Scott and I are at the Sheepherding National Finals this week and I won't have much time to blog but I thought I'd show you a few shots of our visit to Tennessee last week.
We were offered the use of a "mule" to get around the many hills of the farm and the dogs and I used it to see the sights. In the early mornings we often had a hazy fog until it burned off with the blazing hot sun. But in the evenings we could tour around in the cool dusk and view the Appalachians in the distance.

Born On A Mountain Top In Tennessee...

My Father's family is from Texas.
Although I wasn't raised there, I was raised to remember the Alamo and it's ill fated hero, Davy Crockett.
So, when I found myself down the road from the birthplace of the famous frontiersman in Limestone, Tennessee I had to go for a visit to the little farm.

Jail House Blues

We are staying at a beautiful farm in Tennessee while our dogs become acclimated to the Southern weather. (we are traveling to the national finals in Virginia next week)
After a particularly hot work out, Laddie was offered the use of the really nice kennels here while he cooled down. They have lots of shade and a nice breeze blows through, and inside they have a ceiling fan and a cot to lay on.
All the comforts of home. That is, if Laddie was EVER put in a kennel at home. It's all about Laddie, don'tcha know.
